Fight Club 09 is a one-day conference for men on August 1, 2009.

The Purpose of Fight Club 09 is to challenge men to fight for the radical transformation of the gospel of Jesus Christ in their personal lives. This would include how Jesus expects men to take responsibility and lead in their homes, their families, their churches, and culture; to be responsible and honor Christ in their use of time and their finances, to be wise in career and life decisions. The Apostle Paul exhorted the men in the Corinthian church to be watchful, to stand firm in the faith, to act like men, to be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13). We put that together with his final letter to Timothy whereby a man of God can say, as Paul did “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). Above all, men will be challenged to examine their lives and to kill sin wherever the Holy Spirit makes it known through conviction. We would ask all men, please consider joining us Saturday, August 1st in Atlanta.

There will be six sessions with six great speakers who are passionate about seeing our churches full of Godly men. We will have a live band jamming some great anthems during the worship time. There will be fun and fellowship to fill in the breaks plus you’ll have time to meet and network with men across our region. Lunch and a light breakfast will also be provided.

Welcome to The Journey

We are a new church plant on the west side of Atlanta in the Austell and Mableton area. At the Journey, we are trying to re-form the church around the teachings and example of Jesus Himself while building relational bridges to people in the current culture. Out with the self-righteous, judgmental attitudes and the useless religious traditionalism, and in with the fresh wind of the timeless teachings of love and forgiveness, acceptance and repentance.
