Who is God: God is Holy

Posted by Scott Johnston on Tuesday July 14th, 2009

In this message, Pastor Jason deals with the lofty topic of God’s holiness.  There is so little understanding of God’s holiness in the contemporary church where we have worked overtime to bring God “near” in our understanding of him and in so doing, it seems that we have paid too little attention to the transcendant or “other’ nature of God.  In this message, we begin to see something of the proper response to the Holiness of the God of the Bible, and the provision that was made to give us access to Him.

Welcome to The Journey

We are a new church plant on the west side of Atlanta in the Austell and Mableton area. At the Journey, we are trying to re-form the church around the teachings and example of Jesus Himself while building relational bridges to people in the current culture. Out with the self-righteous, judgmental attitudes and the useless religious traditionalism, and in with the fresh wind of the timeless teachings of love and forgiveness, acceptance and repentance.
